Say Yes To The Dress

The first thing that most newly engaged brides do, well after setting the date, is go dress shopping. This can be one of the most exciting aspects of planning your wedding, if done with proper preparation. I'm going to list a few tips to keep in mind when going dress shopping, along with various dress styles.

1.) It would help to know the formality of the wedding. Day or night...formal or informal...destination (beach) wedding.
2.) Know your price point! It would be devastating to fall in love with a dress that is completely out of your budget.
3.) Do research about different dresses; keep an open mind.
4.) Research different fabrics & know what you don't like.
5.) Keep the people that go dress shopping with you to a minimal. Too many people leads to too many opinions. 
6.) Once you find the dress, no more looking!
7.) Last but not least, HAVE FUN!
